Saw her post. Funny sig.

I can't speak for everyone, but, I do expect people will be nicer on this site. I know there were some people pretty unpleasant to drone on at the old site, from what. I heard, only due to the fact she was a she.
Hopefully, that kind of behavior was left at the old place.

There were some real pricks that came around before you joined. Drone is on my friends list and is a great player with some good opinions. She would quit out of tournaments and stuff but who knows what was going on with her life and yet she'd get a hard time of it.
I poked a little... but then again I poke everyone once in a while. ;)

That's not entirely accurate, sure some things were said about her that you can't say about a guy, but she earned her reputation for the most part. She brought drama into every tourny she was in. Even quit out on 2 of them mid-tourny, and started a third tourny herself, in which she completely went missing, like didn't post anymore on the forums and avoided people on PS3 only 1 week after her tourny had finished signups. And that's only the tip of the iceberg.

I've got plenty of females on my PS3 friends list that I play with and they get treated differently than DramaOn because they don't bring unneeded drama, don't try to abuse the fact that they are female, and actually finish things they started.

Huh....apparently we can like posts here? Giddyup.

So one thing I love about living here in Guatemala is the food, in particular, the bread.

There's a "big" bakery chain called "San Martin Bakery" which makes awesome fresh baked bread for cheap, plus like empanadas con leche and other things that can be hard to find on the street. And across the street there's a tortilleria (some ladies that make tortillas from their house and sell them). 1 quetzal (Q8=1USD, give or take) for 3 tortillas, and their nice and thick (using taco bell reference, it'd be more like a gordita than a soft taco, but not nearly as thick, and they use corn flour here, not wheat). I'm a bit of a glutton, and devour most food without thinking, but I LOVE bread, and the bread down here is so amazing and so cheap and fresh. I love it.

I must say the the "unneeded drama" is a very accurate statement.

I'm not saying it was unwarranted - and like devil said, I wasn't around for alot of it - I've just seen mention in other posts, and that's what I got out of it - third-hand info online? Is anything more accurate?

Is it just the poppy tea and other herbal medications I am taking at the moment or is this the best song almost ever?

New to the forum?
Then be subjected to a Woodie Guthrie song that he wrote but couldn't record because of his illness.

Tried to do it justice... and as I listen to it again I want the muscles that bend my thumb and forefinger to work again after three **** years goddamn **** **** years **** **** ****.

Really not being self indulgent. When I read some of his unrecorded songs and also heard a bud of mine was interperting some of them also I got the bug and gave one a shot.

I recorded this around 4 years ago and for all you audiophiles.
I used emjulator software on the drums, keyboards and bass.
Boards include Whirlitzer, Rhodes and Hammond B3. Bass was done with Mini moog.
Guitars and vocals were done by Unknown.
Somehow Unknown got into my backyard and made a high speed video featuring my maple tree and some cool pieces of sunshine.

Acccckkk.
Youtube embedding isn't working for some reason. (at least at the moment)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaoNo047QhU

Edit: Caveat: I don't really tour or perform anymore so this is not for me. Just got to keep Woodie's writings alive.

LOL Elijin. You've posted over on the "official" forums right? I'm bad with names. Never been to the steam forums. I hear they are full of whiners and people that don't understand the game of Magic. Much like the last forum we were on I guess... lol

Sixty...the steam forums are worse...no question. I went on a sort of recruitment drive for our site there. They ARE good for a laugh though. Our site here will attract the smarter ones like Elijin.

I do recommend you guys go to those forums for a giggle and perhaps recruit some more.

No sixty is right, Im from the official forums, I was just more of a lurker. I only even looked at the steam forums in response to this topic. History has taught me the steam forums are only a last resort if there is no dedicated community for a game (because they're terrible).

Those kinds of people probably wouldn't know what a broken deck looked like unless it walked up and slapped them in the face and yelled, "NAH DAWG! IMMA BROKIN DEK!" and then proceeded to kill them on T2 game after game after game.

I would love one of them to see a Charbelcher deck in action against them.

Edit: Actually, I would pay for that. I need to start an internet show.
Pros with Charbelchers vs Whiners with Opinions.

It'll be a hit.

As bad as the "official forum" has gotten lately (I think I've reached my fill of "Bounce and Boon is bad" posts...which is what finally got me to sign up here), it has nothing on the Gamefaqs Duels boards. I peeked there out of morbid curiosity recently, and man, killab would be like Luis Scott Vargas over there.

Speaking of problems, has anyone followed the MOCS debacle this weekend? Wizards and company have bigger problems than dealing with Duels players. Don't expect to get anything constructive out of Wizards/Stainless anytime soon. I'd Google: "Brian Kibler MOCS 2013" if you're curious.

I was curious, and thus googled, and . On top of the already second-rate interface and graphics, MTGO has connection issues as well? That they can't even protect their tourneys from? Makes it sound like DOTP is the better-built program out of the two. Which is a scary thought.
