Chiang: I don't have any type of flawed view of ramp. See.. this is how I know you know nothing about me. I'm the Timmyest Timmy who ever cast Rampant Growth, Cultivate and Explosive Vegetation. Kill spells into bombs is my favorite archetype. I KNOW ramp is tier 0 godliness in the current meta.. it IS the best archetype, hands down.. for a lot of reasons. However.. I am not the type of guy who is going to be happy playing the same cards over and over again. Exploring the card pool, coming up with new ideas and trying new things is what KEEPS me happy/coming back. The only time I play the "best" decks is after I go on a 2-3 game losing streak while trying out some wacko tier 2-3 jank.. other than that, I don't play them. Why? Because it's no fun. It's like.. playing Duck Hunt on the 8-bit NES with the gun touching the TV screen. Is it optimal? Yes. Is it efficient? Yes. Is it sporting, creative or displaying any type of skill? No. That's what I feel about people who only play the best decks all the time. They showed that they can win with the best tools in the shed.. great.. wonderful. It's like saying, "I can take the American/Soviet/Chinese army, and defeat.. I dunno.. Cuba." It doesn't prove anything, it doesn't display skill.. especially with regards to ramp decks, bc they are super simple to play, with very few hard decisions. You know what's a lot more impressive? Taking Cuba's army and defeating Russia/USA/China. That would actually take some super high tier skill..

Much as I like it, I can't afford to be a Johnny/Timmy ATM. I'm behind the OGW/SOI by like 3 weeks coin wise, so only efficient decks to grind 4 coins. I'll understand more about this 'creativity' once I get all the OGW/SOI cards.

If you have noticed about my harrasment posts recently. Even mentioning that got me in trouble because a moderator tied it to something I said on my stream. I didn't find that fair but I'm still activity talking to the moderator about this issue. I will spill the beans on my stream when the new set comes out if that's something you would like me to do.

I don't really understand the point of livestreaming the matches. Personally I prefer recording and putting them up on youtube. I can't watch the US players live anyway since they play in the middle of the night for me. It would also remove the opportunity for cheating by watching the opponent's stream completely. And a recorded video is "content" just as much as a livestream.

The Hakumite doesn't directly concern me since I only play on Steam, but I wanted to voice my opinion in case the Showdown organizers adopt similar rules for streaming.

+1 to GFTL's post. Twitch's streaming just doesn't like my foreign internet connection so I can only watch games there once in a blue moon, even if they're VODs and no longer live. I'd rather see/do uploads to youtube as well.

The problem for console gamers is that you need a capture card and a microphone to get the video onto YouTube. Not everyone is gonna spend $300 and start up a YouTube channel just for this tournament. Twitch streaming is native to the Xbox One so everyone can do it.

For the people with channels (like me), YouTube videos are still an option. I will be uploading my games to YouTube for sure.

I thought you could record in Twitch without broadcasting it, or set a specific time to broadcast? That way it'd be like a youtube channel. Would be cool actually if there was a set match time when the matches go online so everyone could get together virtually and watch the game.

can't find a option to do that with the xbone twitch feed, when you use open broadcast software through a PC you can but I think its live only with the xbone.
