In my experience, it is that consistent, and it's the deck I play most out of all of them hands down.
And you're assuming you even have anything out to block it. If you're leaving 3 mana untapped every turn hoping I'll go to pick it up, when will you have time to play creatures that can block it? Idk. You're right, we can go back and forth all day, so we'll just have to agree to disagree.
Yeah tomorrow night works ayjay! I just got a dentist thing at 7 so after that. I’m playing Obedidient Dead ? That’s the plan ?
Wanna do a best of 3? And then we can just spin for random decks after that if you want.
Thragtusk is a turn 5 play at best, T6 or T7 if you plan on having him protected by a Portal. Are you assuming that OD is just sitting there waiting on you to move before he does anything? Portal is a T4 play, so in order for you to have your combo ready, you had to take T4 off. You also telegraphed your next two turns, allowing me to prepare. Or, you think you're gonna trick me by playing Portal, after thragtusk, with untapped mana open, as if I haven't made that exact same play hundreds of times before. Either way, I have a free turn to do setup before I need to leave mana open and/or you're leaving Thragtusk unprotected for 1 turn.
I mean, I get it, AW was my favorite deck. It's just not as good as OD. Ask Devilwuster. I played that deck more than anything else back then and I'd defend it to the death against anything that isn't GG or OD.
I do like that you're realistic regarding your wins against SS and other decks. You should have seen the people we had around here and the mothership back when 2013 and 2014 were active. We had 1 specific guy that I can remember always quoting 90% win rates for all his decks. You're realistic numbers at least mean I'm having a conversation with a reasonable person.
