It's OK, a lot of what Kryder wrote about guns is also incorrect. And so the wheel keeps spinning. Conversation sure I'd easier these days.

I have only had the game crash once during actual gameplay.

On the other hand, the game usually crashes at least 2-3 times a day while in the menus. Most usually while searching for a game.

I have to agree that the matchmaking on Xbox is terrible.

Between the game just outright crashing while searching for games, to getting hung up on both the "waiting" and "waiting for player to join game" messages which both require a restart, to every other attempt timing out, things do seem to get old fast.

Hell, at this point I am certain that the game even occasionally lies when it times out to the servers.

So you are telling me that at 10pm EST on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday night there are "no games found.....right...you didn't just time out though, did you? Sure, we believe you.

At this point I have started to hard reboot the game if I don't get a game within 5 minutes of starting the search. As silly as this sounds, it actually seems to help.

To be honest I think the issue is one with the client itself. As I said, I can sit for an hour and get nothing but the "no games found" or "time out" messages, but then I will reboot the game and immediately get into a game within 30 seconds of searching. Of course this doesn't always work either, and there are times where I have to reboot the game 2-3 times just to be able to get into games with any sort of frequency.

If there is anything in particular about this game that bugs the ever loving crap out of me, this would be it.

Normally, when you turn your Xbox One off, it just goes into a low-power standby mode so you can say "Xbox, on" to Kinect the next time you want to use it and it will boot up super fast. When you have software problems like I described above, however, you should hold the power button on the front of the system down for several seconds, which will turn the Xbox One off fully (you'll be able to tell it is fully shut down because the light on the power brick will be amber instead of white). Now turn the Xbox One on again (you'll have to either use the power button on the system or use the controller, it won't turn on with Kinect in this fully powered down state), and everything should (hopefully) work right.
