Next in best of series ..... what is the best Artifact spell in Magic Duels.

Any artifact card from any of the Magic Duels sets to date (ORI/B4Z/OGW/SOI/EMN/KLD/AER).

Given this is a huge category please consider in terms of the subclasses, so best Artifact Vehicle, best Artifact Creature and best Artifact (non Vehicle. Non Creature).

Best artifact creature is Scrounger.

i hate breaking it down to subtypes. Why not just pick best Artifact cuz then it's actually tough?

Let's start with the finalists:

Walking Ballista
Noxious Gearhulk (I much prefer this to Torrential)
Smuggler's Copter
Aethersphere Harvester (as a burn player, I would like to see these things rounded up into camps and put to death)
Skysovereign, Consul Flagship (so HAWT)

Final answer: Smuggler's Copter.

I love me some Scrounger but I wouldn't even put it against the ones I just mentionned. I prefer all of those to Scrounger.

...Vehicle: 42.
...non-Copter Vehicle: Since Smuggler's Copter wins the Vehicle category by a mile, I'll take a look at the second place as well. That is a lot closer. Honorable Mentions here go to Skysovereign and Cultivator's Caravan, but in the end Heart of Kiran is the best one I think.

...Artifact Creature: This category is a lot closer. Scrounger has this annoying recursion, Torrential Gearhulk is an amazing wincon, Verdurous Gearhulk can definitely improve a board and end a game, Walking Ballista earns the flexibility prize.
In the end I think I have to go with Torrential Gearhulk; with Scrapheap Scrounger being a very close second.

...Artifact: A little closer again. Both Dynavolt Tower and Key to the City are amazing in their respective decks. In the end I'll hand this one to Key to the City; discard outlet, rummager and overall value monster for aggressive decks.

Scrounger is one third of the reasons that makes mardu vehicles so strong by itself by requiring a third type of answer and making the " take away the pilots" counterplay dubious, so I'm giving it the vote for creature.

Copter wins the vehicle match-up because it and skysovereign are the only two you really always want to answer asap and skysovereign is 5 mana.

Key gets a little overshadowed by copter, so I'm voting tower.

Honorable mention: The token artifacts from tireless tracker.

That's why I picked it. Torrential has one archetype, the Scrounger has many decks including 2 of the top ones in Mardu Vehicles and G/B.
