This message is seeking help from fellow Xbox One players. Kryder should pay attention too cuz there seems to be issues in and around Twitch.

There was a recent large UI update to the Xbox One which added BEAM as the streaming service of choice. Twitch is still on there but for some reason you can't snap it while playing. Also, it's REALLY hard to get it to work correctly now, I can't view the chat log at all unless I have a tablet open. There is a new streaming dashboard that appears at the bottom telling you how many minutes you've been recording, how many viewers there are and if your camera and mic are going. But it's directly over your Duels hand, lol.

I recorded a King of the Hill match versus Natasha6 tonight and I can't see anything after on Twitch. However, Mortivore666 was able to watch the match and participate in the chat (although it takes me forever to look over at the tablet to try and interact, ugh). If you go on my twitch account afterwards, i don't think you can view the match, but when I upload the blank 30 minute reel to Youtube, you can then see the entire match no problem.

So I don't know what's going on but I'm sure the Xbox One prefers Beam and that's what is causing the issues? Natasha6 tried using Beam this morning and couldn't get that to work but maybe I'll play around with it now just to see.

Anyway, wanted to put out a feeler to any Xbox One players that stream to see what they are doing or experiencing. It obviously has an impact on Kryder's Fight Club tournaments so I thought I'd bring it up.

It's a huge pain in the butt to set up now compared to before but at least it works. I'm just sad about the chat log not being visible anymore. It's fun talking to Mort but I'll try to look at the tablet if I'm tapped out or something

They must have ditched it cuz they think their new streaming overlay HUD is better cuz it takes less space. But it covers my hand! And I can't see the chat! Ugh

Our match last night was a good test cuz of the fact that we had to force quit the app and start everything up again, which was even more annoying cuz of how twitch functions now

Hey I think Beam is working now. There's always one guy usually broadcasting Duels and I went and set up an account and stuff. I'm thinking of trying it out instead of Twitch but I dunno. i've got a bunch of followers now so i don't want to abandon them.

lol really? beam is awful. it gets like less then a half a mil unique viewers a month

does microsoft really view amazon as that much of a competitor? that they're willing to screw over everyone that wants to watch any good streaming platform?

How does the number of viewers/visitors make the site/service awful? If it's lagging out all the time or full of tards on your chat or just ugly I could see that as evidence.

So far imho I think it looks slick, and it's near instant no delay streaming. I will have to play with it a lot more to solidify my opinion though. I think I will try it out with Barney because nobody watches my twitch anyway.
