With Sram, Senior Edificer I finally might be able to make something that remotely resembles enchanters arsenal. Also a lot of fun stuff makes a Bounce&Boon-ish deck playable. *drools over Deadeye Harpooner, Call for Unity and Aid from the Cowl*

Surprisingly i'm not really a fan of it in the combo version at least, the fact they get to make the choice is just awful and it doesn't really contribute to either the artifact count or staying alive, i think the place would be an aggressive deck where you force them to give you your stuff back, but then your aggressive deck is running a 3 mana enchantment that doesn't impact the board :(


Only 4 mana do-nothing enchantments need apply!

The trick is making it so either choice works in your favor. If you can make it Damned If You Do, Damned if You Don't, it could pull its weight.

I'll be trying it in a build that profits from sacing artifacts without it. If they let me get artifact back, that helps my plan to kill them - if they take damage instead, that helps me kill them and the card would be going to GY without PR anyways (so bonus 3d is bonus).

Might be terrible regardless, but I'm a little surprised to see you look down at it. Those filthy Spikes must be rubbing off on you - enchantments that don't impact the board are supposed to be your jam! That's one of the reasons I follow your channel :teach:

The thing is, this set has already reached a critical mass of jank to build around (mechanised production, hidden stockpile, the green enchantment ect) that i think we can be critical about the weaker janky cards :p

Mind you thinking about it i can imagine Pia's revolution being disgusting with walking ballista and scrap trawler...

Gonna try to make Prowess work. I try to every release, and every so often when building decks.

Still doesn't work very well. Probably never will in Duels.

Fair enough. :D Although, tbh, I feel like Stockpile will be weaker jank than Revolution. If it didn't have that awful "your endstep" revolt clause, it would be sooo much better. I was initially stoked to mess with it, but the more I try to dream up brews for it, the less I like it. Might be tolerable in crats, just cause you're probably sacing things to swell Husk attacks anyways - but if you get stuck playing defense, Stockpile will just be chilling there mocking your pain. It would be worse than when I ran Valor Blues in seasons past, and a flipped Hanweir Militia Captain would poop out a token triggering Valor on my endsteps.

Yes Plunderer (any permanent), no Constrictor.

Negatory good buddy. Plunder gives +1 of each kind (i.e. Loyalty kind, +1/+1 kind, etc), not each counter. You could play big Nissa, attack with Plunder, and if it gets through ultimate her - you could do the same with a freshly cast Gideon and have him survive ultimate (or if you managed to get a +1/+1 counter on him in creature form you should get an extra counter of each kind) - but no T4 Liliana ultimate with Plunderer.

Skyship Plunderer is very interesting indeed. Would it be worth putting a one-off Skeleton Key in the deck just for him?

I'm a big Prowess fan too, and played it a lot during EMN. I feel like its time in the sun was really the OGW release, but the game was nigh unplayable then thanks to the priority-pass bug. Feels bad man.
