Weldfast Engineer

Is it just me or is this guy a good 3-drop in Rakdos-Vehicles to push damage? Play T3, crew and buff, and then doing it again next turn sounds good to me. What do you think?

Yep is a good card 3343 is good anyway the artifact buff is gravy for vehicles, 5/3 looter scooter.

I've been thinking the same thing about the card since I saw it. I plan to try 1 of them in Mardu Vehicles.

Only downside is the 2 color cast cost although dual lands can help. On curve sure its a great T3 with any of the 3/x T2 artifact creatures.

Yeah this card looks great. My only hesitation is that the 3-drop spot is already a little jammed in RB vehicles, but probably can be worked around.

Right now it's competing with (off the top of my head):

Thopter Engineer
Pia Nalar
Unlicensed Disintegration
Chief of the Foundry
Renegade Freighter (not sure if anyone's playing this anymore tho)

Thinking it over, I think I would probably want Weldfast Engineer over any of that stuff except Disintegration and Thopter Engineer, so those 8-9 should be good for the 3-slot, with maybe a few other randoms if needed.
