It's too bad those mobius comments got wiped, they were true gems for a case study on malicious intent with respect to YouTube comments.

My favorite was "We're approaching lobotomy in a wind tunnel levels of mind-blowing commentary here." I nearly pissed myself lol.

Off course I want people to watch. But if they fall in the "second category" and they are just insulting, then they can stay away for as long as I care. It's just not constructive.
And since we are bringing up Mobius, I really miss his videos because he's funny as hell. But when you start insulting people, people stop listening to the point that you are trying to make. No matter what they are saying, if someone comes on my channel and starts to insult, I categorize him as a troll and that's it. There is no constructive feedback, while he might have a point.

Best advice that I got here is ignoring people like that.

I'm surprised to hear about insulting comments in general, as I've had very little on mine. Honestly just delete that kind of nonsense...unless you can fire up some wit, then have fun!
What gets me through it when it happens is I remember that there's a bunch of folks that are enjoying your stuff and chime in with good comments and you don't need to listen to the one ass that leaves nothing constructive.
Keep making content for the folks enjoying your stuff and only for them and you'll be fine.
