I did not look at the deck list until multiple hours after it came up. No one felt like posting it, so I just went ahead and did it.

Please feel free to create decklist and discussion threads for all the 2014 decks in separate threads mjack. I'm going to work on some more but I want to get some gaming in.
Doing worry about the fact that it will be 14 new threads. We've been welcomed to do it and as I said before if we can get some discussion occurring in those threads also it will be all the more reason to give DOTP it's own space.
Again, make sure they are in constructed... but I'm sure you know.

I was wrong. I did have to do one deck thread. Anyone who feels like doing the others could probably use this for 9 of them, in order toe get the numbers actually right.

Can we have a separate forum for DotP? I know the question belongs in the metaforums, but I feel its equally acceptable here.

DotP's primary audience is people who don't know Magic, that's why they don't let you build decks from all of your stuff. Because it would overwhelm new players. You gotta ease them into it.
Also, I imagine coding AI to react to a much wider range of possibilities takes a lot more work.

I think we'll get our own corner soon so stick around. I'm still in the process of packing more people in the truck and driving them over here.

I'll be honest I don't think 2 threads warrants a subforum

Of course part of that is because some people won't move here until there's a subforum. If even a third of us came, there'd be plenty of threads. Current DotP forum has 5770 threads.

Frankly, having two people spam DotP threads is enough to warrant a subforum, if just so I don't have to see them anymore.

It's friendliness like this that's key to growing a small community into being a recognised member of the greater Magic culture. Bravo, good sir!

I would urge users to keep their posts polite and respectful an if you feel that the DotP threads should have their own subforum, please create a thread in the Metaboard about it rather than putting it in this thread.

So so far I have done demons, zombies, humans, and auras. Next I think we will do some green:

Chant

tangle and all is dust become much more valuable than in 1v1.
gaea's revenge has protection from non green sources. This is a life saver.
There aren't really changes you need to make from 1v1 realistically, as long as you are running the above cards.

Hunter's Strength

Strongly consider gloomwidow. It can block almost every flying creature that sentinel spider can for 2 mana cheaper (there really aren't that many 4 toughness fliers in this game; moroii and broodmate dragon being the obvious ones I can think of). The defense against fliers is more important here.

Strongly consider oakenform. This buffs your own creatures out of burn range, it makes your turn 2 garruk's companion a turn 3 menace, and it can go on any of your partner's creatures. It is only slightly worse than elephant guide and still worth it here.

Be willing to put rancor on a partner's creatures, but don't put it on partner's Illusions.

garruk's horde becomes more viable in this mode.


Elves

Basically do what you do in 1v1 with a slighly higher emphasis on life gain (run all of the wellwisher and essence warden if you don't already).
