Phyrexian Triniform | Artifact Creature - Golem (M) When ~ dies, create three 3/3 colorless Golem artifact creature tokens. Encore (, Exile this card from your graveyard: For each opponent, create a token copy that attacks that opponent this turn if able. They gain haste. Sacrifice them at the beginning of the next end step. Activate only as a sorcery.) 9/9 As a big fan of Wurmcoil Engine, I approve of anything that bursts into more things when it dies. Encore looks like fun, and in a typical 4 player game this is for 27 power that then turns into 27 power spread across 9 bodies. Little Doubling Season or Rings of Brighthearth and you get to have some serious fun. This is the sort of big, splashy card/effect I was hoping to see from this set. Also, I'm kinda sad we don't have a 12 mana symbol available. Edit: Nevermind about the mana symbol, thanks Tevish. |

= {mc}(12){/mc} And apparently the forums have gotten "Good" enough to reject [noparse] or using other tags with nothing in them to break tag functioning and show the code. Anyway, yeah, this seems... very battlecruiser but good if you get it going. Maybe a decent colorless reanimator target, especially for any sort of "one hit wonder" reanimation like Dawn of the Dead (With Dawn, note there's no "or leaves the battlefield" -- you can bring this guy back, swing, sac to something, get tokens, and repeat next turn) |

That art is shockingly not very phyrexian. |

I thought the same thing... it's a little spikey, but it's shiny and not at all organic. There's also nothing "trini" about it. I get the feeling that this may have been vaulted generic golem art. |

I'm also not really sold on the art (saw some comments on Reddit that it actually looks more like a Mirran creature than something Phyrexian). I wish they'd made it more obvious that it was made up of three separate creatures. They've done a good job with the concept in the past: Gemini Engine, Wurmcoil Engine. |
