Very mechanically red with white and blue kinda stapled on. Surprising for Narset,

The emblem's good and the initial uptick provides a decent tempo swing, but I wonder if the mana cost is too prohibitive.

Very very mildly surprised to see Narset turn up, but I get the reason if they just really wanted a wedge walker.

Seems alright. I'm kind of ambivilent about Narset, and willing to see how she goes onward.

My first impression too. Card looks like they designed it, thought "oops, that's a little too red" and someone said "just staple 'Gain 2 life' somewhere."

Her in universe reason for being here is that it has wedges.

it's kind of a weak narrative excuse, mostly because the clans were about lifestyle rather than mana flow, so the correlation is stretched to breaking, but we've had worse excuses in the past.
