Hadlan, Avid Arcanist |
Legendary Creature - Human Wizard (M)
Partner with Pako, Arcane Retriever (When this creature enters the battlefield, target player may put Pako into their hand from their library, then shuffle.)
You may play noncreature cards from exile with fetch counters on them if you exiled them, and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any color to cast those spells.

Pako, Arcane Retriever |
Legendary Creature - Elemental Hound (M)
Partner with Haldan, Avid Arcanist
Haste
Whenever ~ attacks, exile the top card of each player's library and put a fetch counter on each of them. Put a +1/+1 counter on Pako for each noncreature card exiled this way.

Look at the good doggo!

These seem like an alright partner pair. I like that it's play noncreature, so you can drop lands out of exile. Keeping Pako alive and swinging sees like the hard part of the setup.
