This could actually be a decent combat trick voltron.

It doesn't feel as powerful as most commanders want to be, but it's definitely interesting. I do think commander damage is probably a good goal here, since this wants to be attacking. Alternate ways to tap could be useful, though. Time to bust out Springleaf Drum again!

Oh right, this is a face card for one of the new decks. Now I'm really curious how that'll be built.

Don't discount spell copying, it's always fairly potent. I actually think you don't want to just combat trick combat damage, though slapping an Invigorate on this bad boy will make a pretty huge splash. I think what you probably want to do is spam play on everybody's turns, getting maximal copies. If you focus on cantrips, you could draw into just about any combo while also making your commander huge to maybe finish with a 21-point hit.

I think Storm wants to stick with Riku of Two Reflections since he's much more controllable.

Why would you play storm with Riku? Riku wants big spells.
You don't play storm with this because of the copy effect, you do it to get a bunch of +1/+1 counters.

If you're going the counters route... why? If you're storming it seems like an inefficient kill condition. The best thing this can do is dupe a ritual, which is good, but better than what other commanders offer? I guess Temur isn't a common color access.

Actually, this plus crop rotation gets you Marit Lage on turn five. That's not bad.

Mostly as janky fun. The best storm card in EDH is Ætherflux Reservoir if you want to tryhard. More than anything I just wanted to highlight how good this guy is with Flusterstorm.

Kind of annoying that casting an instant before he's tapped eats the trigger for later in the turn.
