Kind of reminds me of Growth Spiral. For more and sorcery speed you get 3 life tacked on. Seems pretty good if you go turn 1 mana dork, turn 2 this, then just leave it in your yard as a future threat.

Those new titans are pretty cool designs.

Yeah, these are really cool. I like that they reference the old titan cycle while also feeling like their own thing.

Cards like these are getting me pumped for Theros. At the very least, it seems like it'll be a fun limited format.

You know I was kind of opposed to elders showing up everywhere but Elder Giant for the Titans seems like a really good fit.

I've always been pushing to see new elder things.
So long as it bloody meant something. Looking at you, TARKIR

So this and the other one are the only titans in the set. Along the (mostly) absent gold Gods, this really makes me wish Theros got the pseudoblock format of Ravnica. Back when they did blocks things had room to breathe.

It looks like White is the color with the least escape. (A little strange that the plot centers around a mono-white character escaping) If we assume any hypothetical titan cycle was not going to include white I think 2 multicolored cards is good. They could have done 4 mono-colored if they weren't in the same set as the mono gods but I'm not convinced that would have been better.

One of the things I didn't like about Return to Ravnica was the amount of cards spent on character maintaining the status quo. I am perfectly happy to just see the lesser gods when they interact with the plot.
