My first thought was that you could lock up a creature and force it to spin straw into gold but I guess it is more likely that you prick it and make it fall asleep until it is kissed.

I really like this card. I think in Limited, you generally only want a manarock like this if you can use both the fixing and the ramp. The tap ability makes this more flexible but I'm not sure it's enough that it won't get cut often.

Maro called out that this spinning wheel was meant to play both roles. The mana of any color is the "gold" aspect and the tap is the poisoned spindle aspect.

This doesn't fit with the flavor of past wheels. It oughta have a "discards hand, draws that many cards" effect.
