I've seen people insulting this card on other websites, but it still seems great to me in limited or in a Faerie deck. People underestimate how much better flying 1/1's are than regular 1/1's.

I think it's because they're contrasting the card as-is to the card that says "with converted mana cost X or less", which would be much stronger.
