Use a d20. 1 and 20 are rerolls, then the rest go in cycles of 3.

In the video where this was revealed, the Rogue token card has a death trigger instead of an EtB trigger. So what's wrong, the card or the token?

I know that if they're both printed as we've seen them, the card wins, but sometimes we've seen outdated images of cards, like when we saw that WAR Tolsimir card with an out of date wording.

Even the printing doesn't matter. Lots of people got 2/3 Corpse Knights at the prerelease and the judges had to tell that it is a 2/2

The wrong token image was used in the preview. The printed token is fine and matches the card. It is an ETB trigger. That “dies” token does not actually exist. Sorry for the confusion. (WotCstaff)

I've done this a few times. Only the first one is about a party like this card though

I find it super weird that it goes back and forth between the different tokens it makes. I'd have expected it to restat the tokens each time it makes another one, or randomly choose one then repeat it.

*"To YMTC it up" means to design cards that have value mostly from a design perspective. i.e. you would put them in a case under glass in your living room and visitors could remark upon the wonderful design principles, with nobody ever worring if the cards are annoying/pointless/confusing in actual play
