From what I can find (but not with a confirmed source, so could be wrong), you can cast the Adventure spell from your hand, which makes it get exiled as it resolves. The creature side can be cast either from your hand or from exile (but presumably only if the Adventure put it there).

Yeah, there has been an article with Gavin that says this. (I don't think it's confirmed whether the creature can be cast from exile regardless of if it went on the Adventure.)

This explains how Adventure works with Culane, Teller of Tales.
