Seems bad to me, because investing in a card by targeting it with an aura/spell is already opening you up to getting blown out, but this even needs you to invest EVERYTHING ELSE YOU HAVE as well.

You can choose how many to put on it. So you can easily leave mana open to protect it and what not.
