I find "own and control" very interesting. It isn't a very commonly used wording. Anyway, really good in commander decks focused on blink effects. The companion ability is easy to achieve, though I feel a bit debilitating.

Can't be used as a companion in EDH since deck size is set. Brago seems better in the command zone for this archetype. But seems like a good addition in the 99

I think this is way better than Brago. Pair it with any etb flicker effect and you get to trigger all your permanents every single turn cycle.

Probably to avoid exiling cards you don't own and forgetting to return them to your opponent.

My first thought is that there has to be a way to infinite this. The companion ability is relatively easily ignored.
