Maybe the best DDF draft deck i've ever, check it out. went undefeated in pod swiss, lost in the final. this was a 2 pod IRL draft (3-1) got 2nd/16 1x Typhoid Rats 1x Sultai Emissary 1x Dromoka Captain 1x Dutiful Attendant 1x Marsh Hulk 1x Acid-Spewer Dragon 1x Noxious Dragon 1x Silumgar Butcher 1x Gurmag Angler 1x Sibsig MuckDraggers 1x Sunscorch Regent P2-2 1x Elite ScaleGuard 1x Aven Sunstriker 1x Atarka Efreet 1x Pitiless Horde 1x Ukud Cobra 1x Ultimate Price P2-1 2x Reach of Shadows P3-1 1x Flatten P2-P6 1x Pacifism 2x Bathe in DragonFire red was underdrafted at i got these P3-P6/P7 Sideboard of cards you usually always main but just didn't have room 2x Sabertooth Outriders 1x Atarka Efreet 1x Enduring Victory 1x Crater elemental sided in again G/R fatty in finals 1x Minister of pain sided in against a couple 3/1 and Fodder in round 1 1x diplomacy of wastes Sided in against a guy with sunscorch regent removal in round 2 1x tail slash 1x Gurmag Angler 1x sandstorm charger 1x aven tactician 1x kolaghan, The storm’s Fury 1xNarset Transcendent P1-1 the guy to my right P1-1 Ojutai's command, which could of been my P1-2 followed by a Teachings afterwards I would of loved to try a creatureless control deck, with summons and write into beings, all that jazz |

Congrats! Interesting list...I had no idea Sunscorch Regent was a card...havenot once encountered it in my ~20 drafts |

What lands did you get to help splash red? If it was decent, I would have thrown Crater Elemental in there somewhere. |

I had BAD mana i was going to take any of the 3 lands in fate before anything. but seen ZERO, so i went 2 mountains. and personally as a rule i don't like play creatures on the light splash since you can't always curve out if you miss the splash vs. spells that you you don't have unload the same turn you could play them. it was a tough call on crater elemental (a wheel BTW) i went Atarka efreet for the upside but ability to not lose tempo if i can't find red as it can still be a 2/2 and yes Sunscorch regent is basically the chase rare in limited draft i want to open in Dragons, one man's take on it but i think it's the citadel siege of dragons limited |

IMO, Regent is in the second tier of bomb rares, just after the Dragonlords, ahead of mostly everything else; comparable with the red and blue Regents, slightly better than black, better than green. Congrats on the draft. You certainly found the right colors. Me, I'd play the second Angler, probably over the Horde, and the big bad Dragon. Maybe over Sunstriker? Or over Captain, than one seems a bit misplaced in your control deck. |
