Hey folks!

Just wondering if there'd be any interest in trying to run a "No Goblins Allowed" draft on Magic Online?

Also, wondering if it's even possible to do that?

Sure if I had mtgo but I don't. I'm not sure a lot of people here do either.

I have MTGO, but I rarely ever use it. I've considered trying to get into the MTGO finance game a bit, but meh.

If we could do like, free cube drafts or something I'd be in. I think there's a way to do it. The Limited Resources guys always talk about weekly drafts on twitter.

I wouldn't mind, but my availability is pretty limited (no pun intended). I rarely use MtGO, so I have no idea how you can set up such a thing. That said, there are free alternatives.

I'll try to find and download one tonight then. Any idea where to start?

I haven't used any in years. Last time I did one was using Netdraft, but I have no idea if it's still being maintained.

There are also websites for drafting. I think tapped out has a draft simulator where other can join in, not sure how fateful/stable it is. I've also used CCGdecks (ccgdecks.com) a lot in the past. That would be my choice, if only because it's the one I have the most experience with.

Once the draft is over, we can play games on cockatrice or MWS. Hopefully no one is low enough to cheat in a friendly draft. CCGdecks has an option to export your deck, not sure if it's compatible with cockatrice.

Cool beans. I'll check those out and start doing some planning. What timezone are people in - I'm imagining this would be easiest to organize starting at 6pm or 7pm. I'm in the Eastern Standard Timezone.

why not just do it on TO and run drafts in cockatrice? I don't have MTGO because I'm an Apple Hipster and am too lazy to download a windows mirror client.

Just look at the Tapped Out one - looks great!

Either TO or CCGdecks is fine by me, I haven't used the TO to really have an opinion on it. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it has a pick order under each card. It kind of ruins the whole point of drafting when the software tells you what to pick. (albeit it's pretty terrible at it. Pyxis is a pick 3 or 4? In what world?)

Also, I'm Eastern time zone as well, but I'm unavailable on Thursdays.

drafts.in is where it's at. Great program. You need cockatrice to play though.

I draft on TO during lunch breaks, so sometimes, yeah.
