Squinty's Tribal Cube So, been working on a tribal cube for a buddy of mine, but I could use some feedback on it. Currently, it's 455 cards, though to be honest we rarely draft more than about four players, so it might be a little excessive. There's 50 creatures per color, 25 other spells per color, four cards for each guild, and 40 more colorless and a few lands. Currently, it is based on Soldiers , Merfolk , Zombies , Goblins , Elves , Allies and Slivers . Please take a look and let me know what you think, I could use all the input I can get right now. ~SE++ |

if I were doing this I'd probably try to do 2-color tribes for more variety. but then, I'm not, so cool. |

Well, Soldiers are fairly insular, but merfolk bleed a bit into white, zombies bleed into blue, goblins into black and elves into black as well. I mean, it's just kinda hard to find good soldiers in other colors. ~SE++ |

Strangely, there are lots of good red soldiers, including some that also happen to be goblins. http://magiccards.info/query?q=t:soldie ... card&s=cmc |

I added in Legion Loyalist to help soldiers bleed a little more into red and also against white's massive tokens. I talked with Dr_Demento for a bit on chat and he helped me make some good changes, as well as the DLCR threads. New lands for mana fixing as well as utility have been added, and the equipments have shrunk a bit. The total size of the cube bumped to 460 (up from 455), and I think it has a lot of power behind it. So, check out the cube again if you guys have a chance and try the drafting button near the top to see how it goes. I really appreciate the help, and more eyes are always better. ~SE++ |

I like the idea of a tribal cube as there are just so many options. Personally, I'd love faeries, to be in it as I think they are one of the most fun decks to play. |

Support has been added for Warriors to be a minor tribe, mostly for Green and Red. A couple more Wizards have been added and they function as a tribe as well, though not overly tied to each other, there are a few that feed off having Wizards. More subtle changes are done nearly daily trying to tighten up the Cube and get it ready to be deployed. ~SE++ |
