What I like about this deck is that it has a lot of stuff I can do. I can lay down a lot of attackers early on and steal games with Overwhelm, or I can grind games out and win via an evasive flyer rocking a Brawler's Plate. Overall, I'd be happy with this pool in a Sealed tournament, in no small part because I have 4 of those 4/3 spiders to stop the air-game.

I wanted to jam Stormtide Leviathan just because it ends games very quickly, but even in a so-called grindy format I felt 8 mana was a lot, and would require me to play that Verdant Haven as well. Instead I ended up playing all of my blue removal and a Divination to dig a little deeper into my deck. I am not 100% on the 2 Tyrant's Machines, but they seem to be a house in board stalls and also help ensure my Aeronaut Tinkers can fly.

So what would you build?

So, obviously there's some very strong red and clear black bombs in this pool. I decided to go with the obvious and came up with this:

The thing I'm purposefully ignoring is the Frenzied Goblin + double Crippling Blight opening up the way for my attackers. I felt like just jamming more creatures and better removal was, overall, better. What do you guys think?

I looked at the pool and I don't really see another way to build it. As you mentioned, you could play the haven+serpent, but you could also board it in once you've seen game 1.

The dropdown list doesn't vary how the file exports, so it's still a jumbled mess of cards in random order. I was deckbuilding off another pool and got this deck below, but... somehow... drafts.in timed out my sealed pool so I can't post what I was looking at. I think I would play it. 2 green sources is is a little dicey, but what can you do. Evolving wilds is almost always a forest here, unless you draw your forest first. Otherwise you run the risk of fetching an island and then drawing garruk. I like the divinations though and slow looter.

Is that the case? I know drafts.in isn't entirely accurate--like they have Cancel instead of Dissipate. I'm getting crappy white consistently, and an Accursed Spirit and to Carrion Crow in nearly every pool. Anyway, last one before the pre-release. Good luck everyone! Clearly red/black. It does seem like you could board out 5 drops for falters. But your 5 drops are pretty good. I guess you don't have enough 2 drops to cut a land. I could maybe see cutting the sliver for frenzied goblin.
