So someone posted an idea for this and a few others showed interest in it so here is a randomness draft. The packs will be made entirely out of random cards. So there could be more then 1 rare per pack easily and sometimes there might be no rare. I'm allowing any card from magic history including un cards mainly because i think it could be fun. The only rule I have is every pack needs to have at least 2 cards of each color in it.\ Pack 1: Darksteel Pendant Lure Duskworker Quillspike Arnjlot's Ascent Valeron Outlander Eternal Dragon Lash of the Whip Peregrine Drake Underground Sea Metathran Elite Rolling Terrain Fireball Oppression Neurok Invisimancer |

The dragon looks horrible. For 9 mana you get two plains? And then you can play a 7 drop on turn 9 or so? Take fireball. It's awesome. |

Dragon but it's close. Greven -- are these cards chosen with any consideration of rarity at all? Like there could be 10 "copies" of each common and 3 of each uncommon in your "pool" (or actually you'd have to multiply by 8 for mythics). Or is it just 1:1:1:1? |

Early game it gives you land. Late game it's a recurrable, flying beater. Seems good to me. |

I'd play it in sealed, but right now it's just a 2-mana plains-fetcher that might turn into a game-ending-7-drop in the event we're playing against a Walls deck. I mean, really, if you fetch one plains with it, then recur it, then cast it, it's a 14-mana creature that made you give up a couple of turns. That's hysterically bad to me, particularly when random formats tend to have old school removal like... fireball. You wanna spend 14 mana and 3 turns on one card? Thanks for the free timewalks! Coincidentally, blowing up someone's face with a fireball in the late game is just as effective. |

Well, knowing what kind of format it is generally helps with decisions like these. I'm inclined to go with Fireball as it seems like the safer pick. |

I like Fireball here. It's a bomb uncommon, while Eternal Dragon feels more like an okay rare. |

My reason for preferring dragon is that I assume that random cards will be slow enough for it to matter. |

Neurok Invisimancer If we are going totally random, we all know which color is the strongest. Plus, a three-mana two-power unblockable guy can probably win the game by itself in this format, maybe deal more damage in a game than the Fireball. |

Dragon. Random cards are going to want that fixing, and the high cost shouldn't be an issue in the end. |

Dragon thins our deck and fixes our colors, then acts as a mana sink if we topdeck poorly; it's the pick. |

I actually like Neurok Invisimancer also. Its extremely relevant early, and late game turns a big bomb into a heat-seeking missile. |

Think of it as a lategame wincon that can also landcycle early. Then add in the fact that it can be your lategame wincon even after you landcycle it early, and you have a pretty strong card. |
