So first off, this was probably the most fun in Limited I've had since Modern Masters. There is a lot of synergy, Conspiracies and really fun, everyone gets to play powerful cards, etc. For example, one of the guys in my round 1 match had the card that lets you tap your lands for any mana, and then he drafted Cogwork Grinder, turning it into a 13/13 guy by exiling cards he didn't want out of his card pool, thus fielding his entire pool of super powerful cards. He also had 2 Edric, Spymaster of Trest in his pool, so he was basically getting a crapton of cards too. How did I beat him? I eschewed gimmicks and played tight, of course. I belt a semi-control deck that gave me some reach by using Brago, King Eternal to gain a lot of life off a Peace Strider or cards from my graveyard with Custodi Squire. The ALLSTAR though was Rout, allowing me to punish other players for overreaching while I held back and made myself look like a weak target. Play the people, not the cards, you know? Here it be. My Aether Searcher let me cast my Mortify for free. My Cogwork Grinder was a 15/15 1 x Minamo Scrollkeeper 1 x Ajani's Sunstriker 1 x Runed Servitor 1 x Reckless Scholar 1 x Brago, King Eternal 1 x Cogwork Tracker 1 x Peace Strider 2 x Marchesa's Emissary 1 x Custodi Squire 1 x Jetting Glasskite 1 x Cogwork Grinder 1 x Aether Searcher 1 x Explorer's Scope 1 x Warmonger's Chariot 1 x Brainstorm 1 x Guardian Zendikon 1 x Aether Tradewinds 1 x Mortify 1 x Fact or Fiction 1 x Misdirection 1 x Rout 1 x Breakthrough 9 x Island 8 x Plains 1 x Swamp My three opponents were the Guy Who Could Cast Everything, this bad Izzet deck that was more like a one-on-one draft deck. Red is not very good in the format, and this guy was "politicking" by kinda going after me but also spreading the damage around. You don't play multiplayer by pissing off everyone in the game, so he died fairly quickly. The other deck was a badass golgari deck that could draw an additional 4 cards by turn 2. I think it could've won the draft, but the guy decked himself both games drawing so many cards, and I was able to cast Rout twice. We wanted to keep playing, so the Golgari deck guy and I played the last man standing of the other half of the draft, who was piloting an Orxhov deck focused on cheap flyers and Morbid triggers, and had a couple of sweepers. Golgari got off to a bad start and really suffered from all the wraths we played, and eventually died again because he decked himself. Orzhov guy's deck was OK but fairly straight forward, and he seemed to be antagonizing the Golgari player more than me, so I was eventually able to land my Cogwork Grinder and beat his face. Now, I have the Golgari deck on hand, see if you can find the combo that lets them draw 4 cards on turn 2: 2 x Sentinel Dispatch 1 x Unexpected Potential 1 x Double Stroke 3 x Typhoid Rats 1 x Sporecap Spider 1 x Infectious Horror 1 x Liliana's Specter 1 x Charging Rhino 1 x Spiritmonger 1 x Twisted Abomination 2 x Tragic Slip 1 x Nature's Claim 1 x Plummet 1 x Provoke 3 x Altar's Reap 1 x Mortify 1 x Unhallowed Pact 1 x Squirrel's Nest 1 x Assassinate 2 x Deathreap Ritual 9 x Swamp 8 x Forest |

Looking at his deck, it's clear he was reeeeaaaaaally relying on his 6-drops to win, but sometimes that's enough. His ability to create an infinite number of chump blockers that also let him draw cards when they die with ritual allowed him to dig super deep into his deck. The thing is, sometimes your Spiritmonger is the last card in your deck, or you cast it and things like Rout happen. |

I'm wondering if playing Conspiracy in 1v1 games like a regular draft instead of multiplayer would be cool. The guy's deck look prettu good for 1v1. Except the part when he played bad cards like Unhallowed Pact... |

His grinder was ONLY a 13/13? Friend of mine got his to an 18/18 Mine only got to be an 8/8, because I was wishy washy on a number of cards because I wasn't 100% sure on what I was playing. glad I'm not the only one enjoying Conspiracy a ton on here. |

I got one up to a 15/15, though I did jam an 18/18 Seekers that someone immediately tried to clone with that izzet Decoy so I had to Altar's Reap it. Sad day. Hydra Omnivore is hilarious when you team up with someone who has a hasty Heartless Hidetsugu. I'm almost done with the cube, woot! |

Realm Seeker was absoloutely insane in the game I saw it. Kid cast it and it was a 23/23 or something, it got killed, reanimated as a 19/19, then cloned as a 15/15. I only won that game because my small army of durdles was wider than their big dudes. And I had people passing Hydra Omnivore because it didn't have trample or evasion. I was a little shocked. |

In a set where nearly every color can provide you with evasion? Pshaw on them. What are your thoughts on cubing this? Should I do 4 commons, 2 uncommons, 1 rare and 1 mythic each card? Or should I do 5/3/1/1? Are there multiple rares that aren't OP I should include? I'm including multiples of Cogwork Grinder, I think, just for funsies. |

No idea how to cube it, I was going to ask you guys. But first I would have to get some conspiracy cards. |

I'm going to start with 4/2/1/1 I think, but will tweak it a bit as cards go up in popularity. Like, I could see playing multiple Cogwork Grinders or Spymasters, but no one's going to care about multiples misdirections or stifles, and people are going to be really annoyed with multiple Seekers and Duplicates. |
