I really want Arcanis just becase, but Wellwisher was really annoying in this format, wasn't it? It seems every draft we do here has cycling these days... |

I don't know anything about the speed or the removal of this format, but it seems like Arcanis is a safe pick. My second would be the Lancer. a 3/4 first-striker on T4 is no joke. |

It's either arcanis or wisher, but I don't know enough about the format to choose. |

I think if we untap with Arcanis that it should be tough to lose, but that Lancer looks sweet. I'm also unnerved by just how many Elf cards are in this pack alone. Arcanis the Omnipotent. |

Arcanis. He's omnipotent My second would be Elven Riders. That's a 3/3 flyer for five, in green. |

Wellwisher. Look at this pack. There are three elvish tribal cards, and three elves (granted wisher is in both those categories.) Elvish tribal works. For sure. |

Red is the best color here, and the removal is very good. Wellwisher |

WELLWISHER IS ONE OF THE BEST CARDS IN THIS FORMAT. Elves are nigh unbeatable if you get enough of the three relevant ones. The second best card is Elvish Riders, because it is a 3/3 with evasion. Arcanis is good, but I would rather be playing Elves than a blue deck. |

Catapult Master This pick is quite hard for me. The Pearlspear Courier is very good, as is good old Uncle Fester. I'm not sure if this format is slow enough to go for the bomb, and UB usually go together well. We passed a Daru Lancer pick one. Anyway, despite all that, I vote for the Master. |

Passed one of the best commons in the format for a 6 mana 3/4 that is ridiculously hard to cast. I sure wish I'd been able to post in this thread sooner If we'd taken Wellwisher, I'd say take the Birchlore Rangers. Continue forcing Elves. But, since we didn't... Catapult Master is the best card in the pack, assuming we can amass enough soldiers. But if we can, that probably means we won't be heavy blue, which makes Arcanis harder to play. That said, there are other good white cards that could easily table, and the blue cards here aren't too exciting (like all blue cards in old draft sets) Edit: You know what? Screw this. Keep forcing Elves. BIRCHLORE RANGERS |

I counted 4 votes for Arcanis and 4 votes for wisher last pick. How did you solve that, Grev? My pick here is Festering Goblin. |

I love the elf deck and while I'm not unhappy with Arcanis I would have voted for Wellwisher had I had access to a computer yesterday. As it is I am going to agree with Birchlore rangers here. |

I do have a personal affection for birchlore. Also, I don't think passing wellwisher automatically means we're not elves. |
