I think it is important that for every "here is my 3-0 deck" for consideration to be given to decks that just outright fail. My first JOUx3 draft had gone 1-2 after I drafted a Hour of Need deck that narrowly lost the two matches (both 2-1 and both to the wire). Not perturbed by this I jumped back on MTGO and opened a foil Prophetic Flamespeaker. After drafting what I thought was a stupidly powerful deck I ended up with this:

I genuinely thought this was a 3-0 deck. 2-1 at the outside. In the end I went 0-3 (and 0-6 in games). While I can see arguments that cards like Font of Return (basically a constellation trigger) and Thoughtrender Lamia shouldn't have been played is this deck really that bad?

This seems a bit shizophrenic to me. Two Hoplites and nothing to trigger them with. Two bombs that want to attack, and no way to push them through. Grim Guardians want to play the attrition game, but not much else is there to help them. I can see you were going for constellation, and the Lampads should have enabled some attacks for your bombs.

Thanks for posting this. It takes a real effort for me to look back at one of my disasters, let alone posting one of them.

I don't really like the leeches(only 9 swamps?) here, and it seems half an aggro deck(4 pikers,flamespeaker) and half a control deck(chosen, font,king)

It could have used the red font and starfall pretty well if you managed to get some.

What was the side?

Your spells seem very bad - they are all individually playable, but none of them is actually good. Maybe magma spray - but even that isn't so useful late game.

Agreed with the 1/2 aggro 1/2 control deck.

EDIT: That being said, it sure doesn't look like an 0-3 to me. Variance is a bitch.

Thanks for the feedback. The plan was early damage and then win through constellation but it didn't work.

Of course, it is hard to post an 0-3 deck but feedback is more important with a bad deck than it is with a good deck.
