We completed the 2nd draft so time to start the 4th.

I feel like a step was skipped.

We're currently on p2p1 on the 3rd draft, Squinty. Can't link to it on phone, but it's somewhere here.

As for the pack, my pick is Hero. The card is very powerful. We're also passing a lot of good Red, and that doesn't goes well with Green anyways.

It's between Hero of Leina Tower, Aerie Worshippers, Thunder Brute, and Fall of the Hammer for me. I haven't played with the Hero in draft yet, but it looks like it should be good. Felbatista wouldn't steer me wrong on pack 1, pick 1, right?

Hero of Leina Tower

Aerie Worshippers

I wanted the Ragemonger, but then I remembered this is triple BNG, and there will be a lot of inspired enablers. Hero is a good card, no problem if we end up with that, but I feel it would be more fun trying to make Worshippers work.

I am with Z only because it's a 3xBNG. Otherwise I think Hammer or Hero is the pick. Worshippers

My gut tells me hero is too good to pass.

Excoriate. Although I suspect the board will go for spider.

Its either Excoriate or Vanguard imo... I'm NOT 2nd picking Giant Spider...

Vanguard of Brimaz I guess.

Am I thinking about Excoriate vs. Asphyxiate incorrectly because it's triple-Born and black is weak here? Is it because Excoriate is more splashable? Or both?

Spider and Asphyxiate are out. G/B is not very good in the format, especially in triple BNG. The Blue cards are good, but I don't want to fight for it. Yeah, it's between the 2 White cards. Excoriate.

That doesn't even make sense. Vanguard is cheaper and doesn't die to spark jolt eye gouge.

Excoriate I think is almost always better than Asphyxiate (although Frank Karsten disagrees). Asphyxiate is better in RB aggro where it can clear an annoying blocker. I guess it would be better in BW heroic but how is that a deck? It's not splashable in WU or whatever.

Mostly I want excoriate to kill a big monster or voltron, although you have to chump or eat an attack once.
