I think it was strixhaven, Kaldheim had way too much complexity for me and the Innistrad formats were competent but unexciting (D&D was bad enough that nobody opened draft boosters and because of some **** involving set boosters some commons from D&D are literally 5 dollars which is literally incomprehensible to me. I mean when Delver came out and it was the best card in all formats it was still only 20 cents)

I most liked Kaldheim. After snow lands were starting to picked appropriately, it felt like a very balanced and complex format. I also love any format where aggro is really viable. Koma was **** though.

Strixhaven had some good elements, but although learning was neat, the best Lessons being colorless and there being really only two main archetypes (WB aggro and GUR ramp) made drafting feel samey.

MID was very fun to play game-wise but blue being so strong was hard. That said, like I said, I really liked drafting red aggro while everyone was doing zombies. I did not enjoy AFR or VOW.

I was just telling a friend that it did feel like drafting went into a slump after several good years.

I never played D&D. Of the ones I did play with, Kaldheim struck me as the best. In its limited format if nothing else it reminded me of some of the old complex ones I had a lot of fun with like Time Spiral Block or Lorwyn-morningtide.
