So, I was thinking of trying to build another cube for my gamegroup, and this one would be a bit more for the advanced players to have fun with. So, my question to you all (who seem to have quite a bit more experience in drafting), what are the best common and uncommon cards of each color per set in Modern? I'll take suggestions from any and all, but I thought it might be easiest to go from set to set trying to build up a nice set of cards to work from.

This is stuff off the top of my head, or scrolling quickly through gatherer for sweet cards.

Mirrodin - Bonesplitter, Isochron Scepter
Darksteel - AEther Vial, Skullclamp, Chittering Rats
Fifth Dawn - Eternal Witness, Steelshaper's Gift, Grafted Wargear, Magma Jet
Champions - Kodama's Reach, Sensei's Divining Top, No-Dachi
Betrayers - Ninja of the Deep Hours, Shuko
Saviors - Manriki Gusari, Raving Oni-Slave, Razorjaw Oni

(After realizing how horrid Kamiagawa Block is, I'm going to just do a few cards from block. Also easier to do)

Ravnica Block - Signets, Karoos, Compulsive Research, Faith's Fetters, Flaring Flame-Kin, Galvanic Arc, Guardian of the Guildpact, Lightning Helix, Moldervine Cloak, Putrefy, Mortify, Seal of Doom, Seal of Fire, Guildmages, Magemarks, Watchwolf, Wrecking Ball

Time Spiral Block - Avalance Riders, Slivers, Split Second Spells, Thallids, Sprout Swarm, Calciderm, Ichor Slick, Last Hours, some Suspend cards, Imperiosaur, Deadwood Treefolk, Celestial Crusader

So there's a start. From new mirrodin, you get the white guys that get buffs when equipped, ZEN landfall dudes, be careful to not play too many removal spells because then it gets boring.

Yeah. Kamigawa was fun for the flavor of it, but mechanically it was a pile of crap.

I mean, I played a minimal amount during that time because of being a freshman in highschool and not enjoying getting stomped by Affinity, so I don't remember a lot of it.
