Swords. It's great removal and we'd only be passing a Resurrection in white. I did think about the pack though.

I don't like that we are passing both shriekmaw and putrefy...hmm

How do you guys do post drafts anyway? Is there a website for keeping track of this?

So, I didn't review the cube but my general strategy is to do the most powerful thing that you can be doing. Taking a removal spell isn't ever going to kill your opponent unless you have something in play.

The cards that stand out to me here are Myr Battlesphere and Life from the Loam. Battlesphere is great in ramp strategies and kills people really fast as well as being good on defense. If Life from the Loam is in the cube, I have to think there are viable graveyard based strategies which means that this is a great enabler for that type of deck.

Pack Rat

This is a powerful thing, and it stands alone. Next would be Life from the Loam for me.

You know, its really hard to move on to the next pick when there are 4 votes, and all of them are different. It IS interesting as a discussion about cubes in general.

The removal is generally better in cubes, but rat is still one of the most powerful things to have happened to limited.

Not sure. Black is very deep in this pack. My vote goes to Rat.

blast from the past. Although thragtusk and RS Zenith seem solid. Or anthem, geeze.

Thragtusk cards a bomb no matter what draft format it's in.

Thragtusk

Let's take the bombs first, and worry about colors a bit later. I do like the Reanimate, though. Goes well with the Rat, too. Discard your Eldrazi, make a Rat, Reanimate the monster.

Siege gang commander?

SGC is a beast, but to be great you need to draft more goblins. Thragtusk is just a beast on his own, has lifegain and basically recurs itself.
