I did go 3-0 with this deck, but it kind of felt miserable. Not going to post my whole pool, but basically promo Curator of Mysteries and 2x Final Reward + Stir the Sands made it pretty straight forward.

1 x Festering Mummy
1 x Shadowstorm Vizier
2 x Miasma Mummy
1 x Tah-Crop Skirmisher
1 x Doomed Dissenter
1 x Lord of the Accursed
1 x Hekma Sentinels
1 x Naga Oracle
1 x Grave Digger
1 x Aven Initiate
1 x Curator of Mysteries
1 x Horror of the Broken Lands

1 x Edifice of Authority

1 x Winds of Rubuke
1 x Wander in Death
1 x Cancel
2 x Hieroglyph Illumination
1 x Commit // Memory
2 x Final Reward
1 x Stir the Sands

8 x Island
8 x Swamp
1 x Cradle of the Accused

sideboard
1 x Winds of Rebuke
1 x Supernatural Stamina

Turns out card draw and cycling is good. Really not enough flying to finish a match efficiently...
Match 1/G1 was UB mirror. I managed win win a very very long G1. G2 was the Edifice of Authority mirror match, we never finished. 1-0 me.

Match 2 (Naya "Exert") and 3 (UW) I won 2-1 in extra turns both time.
M1G1 I poked him to death with Shadowstorm Vizier, bringing it back 3 times (Gravedigger, then Wandering Death to get back it and Gravedigger, then Gravedigger AGAIN). Lost a quick 2, won game 3.

M3 was UW Oketra/Temmet/Aven WInd Guide embalm, but most of his cards were white weenies.
Some how managed to win M3G3 with 6-7 minutes on the clock-- finally Curator of Mysteries made an impact. Won a game with exactly Lord of the Accused + Stir the Sands. Turns out 3 3/3 menace creatures is good.

MVPS:
Edifice of Authority, Wander in Death, Final Reward (exiles 4/4 indestructable filiers)), Stir the Sands. Curator was obviously good but really not much better than Aven Initiate. Draw 2s were good.

Weird Cards:
Commit // Memory. Commit was fine, although a bit odd. I cast Memory twice for maybe +1 CA each, nabbing a Control Magic. I did win both games but I think that was just pure luck getting a better 7 than them.

Cradle of the Accursed - cracked once. Won't run again.

Hekma Sentinels was vanilla, but probably it's better in draft if you have higher density of cycling.

Did you have any 7-mana creatures/finishers in your pool? I found every game I played in, save one, went to 7 or more mana.

Probably had a cycling sandworm. I agree though. There was a game I conceeded at 5 lands (no islands), and I think I won one game off of 6.
I played against the 7 mana angels 2 matches. Once I almost blew a G3 because I forgot it had indestructible and would trade with my 4/4, but managed to pull it out.

I think draft is somewhat faster.

I ran over something like this with the RB deck I posted in analysis thread :)

I really like Wander in Death and Hierohlyph Illumination. That, and Sacred Excavation will be the engine in a lot of winning decks. As soon as we solve the aggro puzzle.

Edifice of Authority is the key to beating (red) aggro decks. This deck can also not beat a 6/7 hexproof.

I drafted a deck last night with 5 main deck Hieroglyphic Illumination. Sadly I had no cycling payoffs. I'll post it tonight.
