On topic, I like Firedrinker Satyr.

Personally, I'd take the Harpy. Not aggro, but flying and lifelink is really nice, even if it is only a 2/2 body.

In this pack I want Wingsteed Rider. You're not passing many white cards and you're basically taking the best white common. I think the Harpy is also reasonable but Wingsteed Rider is better. Card just takes over games.

Magma Jet
Returned Phalanx
Commune with the Gods
Cavern Lampad
Setessan Griffin
Agent of Horizons
Coastline Chimera

If you want to do Heroic, you have got to decide on it early, because you need a metric ton of enablers -- at least twelve spells that you want to run that can target your own creatures is a good rule of thumb, which means picking bestow and enchantrips highly and early on. We picked Wingsteed Rider last turn, but Rider can hold its own outside a major heroic strategy, if not as well.

If we want Heroic, Lampad is the choice. She's a nice, evasive body on her own and bestows onto the hero of our choosing quite easily.

If we want to forsake Heroic, Magma Jet is the pick. Frankly, i'm not too fond of it in Theros limited, because most relevant targets have >2 toughness (an unbuffed heroic critter is pretty much the only must remove it will remove alone) but Scry 2 is still very nice and it can zap some chaff for early board.

Personally, I'd say take the lampad, and see if we get any more good heroic/enablers, since she's just fine even outside the hero archetype, while magma jet might have trouble finding a decent target, but either pick is valid at this juncture.

Just don't pick magma jet and a fistfull of other tempo plays, then try to turn to heroic.dec later.

Dude, the foil rare!

Ok, more seriously, I think I'll go for magma jet, though lampad is tempting.

I really like Agent (personal preference), but Lampad seems good here.

Cavern Lampad gets my vote.

Obviously, we should take the rageblood shaman and move in on boros minotaurs. We wouldn't want to take some scrub pick like Magma Jet here, would we?

Shaman. It's an efficient creature by itself and turns all late pick minotaurs into winners.

Going back to the 1st pick, I agree with Rider over Harpy, although they are both pretty equal in power. Having a direction is useful. Of course this second pack is not helpful at all.

Lampad does enable rider, but not cheaply and the intimidate is pretty redundant on it anyway. Minotaur gives us another direction to go in, but actually doesn't fit well with wingsteed rider at all.

Magma Jet by process of elimination. Also most valuable Theros uncommon (80 cent!)

I think I'll go with Magma Jet, but I'd be happy with the Lampad as well.

I like Cavern Lampad. Having black intimidate is good, but being able to grant non-black intimidate is great.

magma jet is my pick. cavern lampad is pretty bad. 4 mana 2/2s suck, and bestow 6 feels awful.

I love the Satyr, but I'm falling more out of love with it every time. I'm sure some good arguments will sway my vote, but until then, Staunch-Hearted Warrior is a card that can quickly swing a game.

This pick is between Sentry of the Underworld, which I think is an all-star in Sealed, and baleful eidolon, which is either an amazing roadblock or a stellar bestow. I'm voting for eidolon. I'd be very curious to see what wheels from this pack, but will probably forget about it in 8 days.
