Onyx Goblet is more inevitable in a grind. Reaver is fine, but I want to put the word in for goblet.

We need some creatures that don't cost five mana. With that said, the pack is pretty barren, so I'll take the Reaver.

What are the thoughts on Onyx Goblet, it looks playable to me.

I was thinking it looked like Bant was open. It's really hard to tell in Alara draft with people dipping into other shards to pick up what's best but still in color. A Bant Battlemage still being available mid pack tells me that there at least isn't more than 1 person in Bant. Who knows? It's so hard to tell.

I'm also dealing with info that's been stored in my brain for the last 5 years so it's a little stale especially in the "what should be available" and the reading signals category.

Goblet seems like filler to me. It's maybe not unplayable... It's good sideboard tech against Marble Chalice
