because Portal was mostly supposed to be about creature combat, and instead of making everyone good at that they just made all the non-creature-combat stuff worse, leaving the color that was good at that stuff on top.

No it doesn't. Everybody will have a ton of two drops in this format. Ambush Force will never connect. I'm with Zen, Three Visits.
