First question: Will we ever want to run 2x annul or 2x kiss? If either is yes, then take that one. If both are yes, then I think take 2nd kiss.


I am going to posit that we never want 2 of those so it's between s'mark and giant.

Normally I am no fan of benthic giant... but our other 6 drop is loathsome, and it seems unlikely that we will get a big blue flier to top the curve.

I can't see us running 3 marks, but I can see us boarding into kisses and annuls... that was strange to type... when facing problematic blue decks or decks touting a ton of monstrous. I think the giant is a meh card that comes down too late and is a vanilla beater, not a finisher.

Who needs six-drops? We have a Lampad and two Naiads to top our curve. Do we really have two Marks already? Then I agree we don't need the third one, and we're better off with a Kiss.

warcaller, we still have two unicorns and the shores, our deck is so bad that spashing for it could improve it.

centaurs works too, but the warcaller gives devotion.
