I've played against Oppressive Rays and it's really not that Oppressive; it's a Pacifism that your opponent can turn off whenever he wants to.

Nyx-Fleece Ram

The only time oppressive has really been oppressive was when an opponent t1 oppressive'd my t1 vortex elemental.
Now, that was oppressive (vortex elemental got to spin two creatures g2 so it got its revenge).

Ram is fine here.

Ram is pretty good. I love the life gain and the wall it provides against aggro.

Nyx-Fleece Ram is right up our alley. Good for the curve, works well with Ajani (protecting him and then getting large, gains us life, triggers Constellation (if that becomes a thing), trolls the opponent as well.

I am biased towards Armament of Nyx... but a smart drafter would probably choose Ravenous Leucrocota.

Leucrotrota.... since you guys hated on rays, and rays is better than Armament. Although the hilarity of making a 0/5 double strike is not lost on me.

Heroics.

Swiftclaw is great, but this lets you attack when otherwise you would have to hold blockers back.

I like Harvestguard Alseids, anybody else like him?

Heroics seems too expensive.

Heroics is savage surge with serious late-game potential. Alsieds and Swiftclaw are both fine. GW is very aggro so I am going with Swiftclaw.

Heroics is one of the best Green cards in the set.

Eidolon of Rhetoric

Nature's Panoply is just bad in anything but the GW heroic deck.
