I don't hate, and I don't want another four-drop over this, I'd just like a better two-drop. Even Bronze Sable is better, as we are not red.

Or hate the format, not the Hedonist? I like the format. It's rare that all color combinations can be drafted. And almost all cards are playable to some extent. So you guys are good, and have solved the format? I'm not that jaded yet, and drafts are still a challenge.

I guess it all depends on your skill level. When the novelty wears off, the draft pick orders are known, any format becomes old. We need new cards to liven things up a little, but not because it's a bad format. Because it's so good we drafted too much :)

I'd be interested to hear arguments, with examples, why Theros is bad, and why something else (not MMA!) was good. I don't think it's fair to compare to MMA, since that one was meant to stand alone, and Theros has to think about what's coming. Just think about Witches' Eye and the new mechanics to see what I mean.

I think I'd rather have the sable here. Invocation replaces Fate Foretold in the deck, and I don't think it's worth it atm. I would rather play a card that cycles itself and possibly gets us another card.

Sable continues our mission to lower our curve and is technically better than the satyr here anyway.
