If we see ourselves in naya, the triple red cost of rorix is a problem, considering the triple cost of WSZ also.
mana vault+Strafe are arguments for Scuttlemutt.

I still think rorix is the pick, but shower+scuttlemutt are very close.

I didn't. I just have no idea how you guys are planning to play Rorix and Zenith (and still think about a Green splash) in the same deck, with zero fixing.

we have Refuge

but yeah if we grab Rorix we're ditching Slime. but I think Rorix is a big enough deal that it's worth it. but damn passing that Shower hurts.

neither of them needs to be an early play though. Zenith is pretty weak at X<3, and Rorix just costs 6. and if we can't play them until we get 7 lands, oh well, it's still 8 power off Zenith or 6 in the air from Rorix. we're not trying to cast opal guardian and war elemental. these are late drops, they're good even if you don't hit them quite on curve. it does mean we're discarding the green splash entirely, but honestly that's probably good anyway.
