I think sixty is correct here; we passed a removal spell last pack, so picking Machine lets us deal with bombs while enabling Shrapnel Blast. Solid pick, IMO.

Crowd's Favor

I think all three cards discussed here are legitimate picks. I think we're building a deck that deals with bombs by outracing them, and that deck wants the combat trick.

Tyrant's Machine. It's a surprisingly effective little card.

This. Plus machine costs all the mana in the world.

I'm switching my vote to crowds favor, somehow I overlooked it. With us wanting to be fast, it is exactly what we need.

I haven't played it, is Favor really better than a Piker? I'm gonna say Fiend but I could definitely be wrong.

Favor lets a Piker kill a three-toughness blocker. Assuming, of course, you're putting on pressure and they are tapped out from playing a blocker. It's not stellar, and can turn into a two-for one, but it's OK, and some people can still be fooled by the convoke.

I dunno, I have lost to overwhem twice now. Typically by attacking with fliers assuming I can survive the crack back. Maybe I play bad?
Thopter isn't unplayable in this deck.

I don't see any scenario where we play Thopter, but I do see Overwhelm getting put into a green white token deck. I'm not saying it is great, just that I'd rather remove the option for any green white player next to us.

Overwhelm.

I don't want that Thopter to tempt me into playing a dead card just in case I accidentally draw the Blast.
