if we're going to first pick lightning strike let's 3rd pick it too.

Lightning strike. I won't be satisfyed unless we get 20 pieces of removal.

i didn't get to post on the last pick but I think staying in color to our first pick as probably the choice even in a pack that as thin in red. If we cut red hard we can pick up our secondary color later and we'll get passed red spells pack two.

Lightning Strike is the clear option to me based on this because we're only passing one red card and the card is really strong. The nice thing about lightning strikes is that even if we get cut out of red they are easily splashable.

Much as I love the Gorgon, we picked the Strike, and so, we should also pick the second one.

I'm picking the Gorgon to completely cut black.

Plus this card can easily be a 2-for-1

Lightning Strike because I love red in this set. No one around where I live seems to draft it.

Keepsake Gorgon 3rd pick is an EXTREMELY strong signal. And there are no commons missing from the first 2 packs so no one took a Gary over it. Theoretically one of the two guys on our right took a black bomb like Agent of Fates...

Plus KG is removal so it counts.

Wingsteed Rider is a pretty strong signal, too.

But Gorgon is pretty hard to beat, and would probably be the correct pick.

That said, I'm forcing red, so I pick Lightning Strike.

What is the person on right picking? Probably blue, but he's passing Scorpion, Eidolon, Ray, Harpy ...;

In the last two picks, there was a lot of good white; RW is very strong, and we have the best of red so far; bestow is good, and while I'm not a big fan, I love the white Eidolon.

Picking a white card after passing wingsteed rider, or picking a black card after passing keepsake gorgon?

I actually want the Eidolon to bestow on the harpy. I guess Eidolon to stay flexible. Its probably better than lil' harpy. Both seem to go with the lightning.
