Copperhorn Scout is really good. You say: "Hey player X, I wanna kill player Y but not leave myself open to dying from player Z's attack. Can I hit you with Copperhorn and attack player Y?"

Cell is better, but Scout is something to keep in mind. Lantern is also good at preventing you from decking yourself. Lantern is also good when you have a bunch of wolves and you don't want to overextend playing them, so my pick is Lantern.

Worldknit says we REALLY don't need to worry about this. We'll be running close to twice as many cards as everybody else.

Dunno how lantern, in particular, keeps us from overextending. Yeah, it lets us screw around with our mana, but why would I take a marginal sink over removal?

Weak pack here, but there's still some good stuff. Breakthrough, since we're more likely to need digging; minamo scrollkeeper to keep the pressure off early game; silverchase for surgical removal; or enraged revolutionary because Dethrone is AWESOME.

Frankly, we need to watch our picks to make sure we have enough dudes, so I'll call for the revolutionary

You know what? Actually, I'll go scrollkeeper.

Breakthrough.
We need to up the critter count, but don't forget about the wolves. Drawing one of those gives us three extra critter cards, so that skews the math behind our creature count somewhat.

And folks, what you see here is a phenomenon called "avatar bias."

Lot of good in this pack: Howling Wolf, Quag Vampires, Flowstone Blade, and Assassinate are all valid picks for us.

We need more critters for Worldknit.dec to work. We want to be at about 70%. Honestly, the longer this draft goes the more dubious I get about the gorram minimally supported wolves. 2/2s do not go far on a conspiracy board

Pick Priority:
Quag Vamps
Assassinate
Flowstone Blade
Howling Wolf

Anything else is not worth considering.

4 seems like the optimal number of wolves, and we have 4.

I like fireshriker because surprise kills in multiplayer.

Depends if we're running Worldknit. If we do, then the deck is going to be about 70+ cards, then we'd want more wolves so our percent chance of drawing one early and dragging more out are higher.
