I don't know how we're planning to include Avacyn, FtD AND a splash in our deck. Crow for me.

Yeah, I'd have to agree on the Crow. It'll make the deck, or at least be a lot more likely to do so than the red splash.

I'm aware this isn't the green draft. Still want the 9 p/t for significantly-less-than-9-cmc.

Well let's see, right now the only reason we'd go white is Avacyn, so taking a strong off-colour card is a-okay. But that Crow is a great option for black, which we have more reason to be in. Anyone got any good analysis, because this seems like a hard choice.

Paragon, Pegasus, Pridemate, and Cathar are also all good cards. switching to red means throwing those away too, and we have no real method of splashing effectively besides running a couple miser's mountains.

Crow, Wind Drakes are good, splashing in a deck full of double costs is not.

I haven't played the format, so I may be way off base here, but why is Guard even in discussion? flying is way better than vigilance. the convoke interaction is shiny but Crow is a wind drake.

I have no idea how good the Guard will be in M15, but it was quite good in Innistrad. That said, there's been a lot of 2/3 in Theros, and he's nothing too special any more. If he's good, he can play both offense and defense, while Drake is just offense. But if it turns out that he can't attack profitably, then the Crow is better. Also, Guard can pay for convoke, and then attack or block.

I'll switch to crow. While Strike is nice, yeah, it's not worth dumping all our black (Including Flesh to Dust) for.

Crow. Evasion is really good in a set where the board gets gummed up by creatures often.

I'll hope onto the Crow-wagon, sure! I heard Wind Drakes do fine work in this format.

Flesh is the best thing here.
