Because its unsplashable. Strangely, it works awesome with Xeangos, terrible with Xenagod. (No mana costs, no devotion, and they're too small to be worth his pump target.)

I think this one. I do like Journey but man the back end of the set is bad.

I am going to say Archetype because we are in Green and already have 2 ramp spells. Wolf and Helix are both fine, but obtainable elsewhere.

Helix is just so good. Helix plus Wavecrash Triton (obviously no guarantee we get one) is often just good game.
