Sorry, in Portal, combat tricks are sorceries. It happens.

Dragon says: you want to lose the race, or you want to give me a critter? Each of those is better than another random dork. And if they become overly aggresive, it can kill them out of nowhere.

but neither of those is a combat trick, because it's not a trick that you do during combat. the point of a combat trick is to surprise your opponent by messing up their combat math. when you broadcast it at sorcery speed, they know about it before they have to do the math. just like how moldervine cloak isn't a combat trick, it's just a pump spell.

and yeah, dragon is either a bad diabolic edict or a bad face burn spell. the face burn thing is bad, the edict is ok but it's only that if it's not that damaging to them. it's basically lava axe, in a slow format, that they can block so it doesn't do the one thing that lava axe is good for.

Yup. There are better 2-drops than Yellow Scarves Cavalry, and I'd probably rather take any of the Zodiacs over them anyway (especially considering the frequency of Horsemanship in this set). I don't see us playing them. Might as well keep the Charge out of play.
