Ooh, that Dark Confidant. One of the best cards in the abstract, but we already have plenty of fatties and are looking to go reanimator. Carnophage is pretty sweet in the black early beater role, and if we don't want to leave him untapped then it's no big deal. Primus is pretty expensive, but equally expensive.

Primus.

[Checks Gatherer] Nope, Treefolk Shaman.
Huh, treefolk shaman. I expected this to be a classless elemental, that's kinda weird.

Let's take the Woodfall Primus for the reanimation plan.

Feeder good in reanimator. Me pick Feeder. Why red go so late? Rampager also good in reanimator. Splash red legitimate choice?
Akroma. Looking back, Feeder doesn't fit this deck too well, and may actually be the worst card for us here.

Somehow I think carrion feeder is not going to go with our BG even though we can theoretically get something back. I guess it gets us a +1/+1 counter in response to removal. Or lets us persist Primus.

I can't decide if it's more likely that we spash red for Rampager or try to get Akroma into the graveyard. Or splash some random white card in the future. There is only 1 other morph card in the cube (yes, I checked) and it's also red.

Oh HO! Of course we can cast it as grey ogre and sac it or block with it! Then reanimate it!
But Unburial rites also flashes back for white and that makes me want to take the fixingthicket.

Still the hilarity of reanimating a morph card is too awesome to pass. There's more fixing.

Free sac outlets are very powerful in general. Ones that keep value are amazing.

There was a tournament winning modern deck that used red Akroma in a white green deck and could only turn it faceup with flicker effects. it was on DailyMTG recently.

Yeah, it's a cute thing in GW hatebears that's been going around.
