For what it's worth, I find MM very difficult to draft since I have only done it once.

Tribal flames - with the mantra and the fixing we are aiming for a 4/5 colour deck and this card is awesome.

Avian Changeling since we're still staying open for rebels... and its also a saproling since I suspect we're being pushed into that deck. Plus it flies.. and is just as powerful in this deck as that 5 mana awful manta since we're going to be given all the late pick 5 mana saproling guys. We'll play the 5 mana 4/4s all day over it here.

Understand me here, I don't think Manta is bad, but its going to get cut from the deck we're drafting. If we take the changeling we're immediately upgrading the card, as sick as this is.

Wish we had taken the echoing courage; it breaks this deck open.... even if its one of the lowest power level ones we can draft.

Absorb Vis. Removal and land fixing. Great for 5 colour control.

The only thing you're going to remove by playing Absorb Vis is your sanity. I'll say Mossdog mostly for the body, but Manta isn't unreasonable either.

That fury charm would have been great with Jhoira.

For what it's worth, I would have taken Absorb Vis in that last pick, because it has land cycling.

Except there were perfectly playable cards for the storm deck between them. If this were a real draft I may or may not first pick the money card. But in this case, trying to force it might have been cool. Either way, its long past now.

I question how much you've played this format when you said Jhoira and Fury Charm are playable.

Picking the money card is something you might do in a real draft, but that doesn't make it objectively the correct pick. This doesn't help anybody learn to draft.

I didn't say it made me right or not. I said that trying to force storm might have been an educational process.
