Curse needs opposing bombs to shine. In a world of combat tricks, a 2/2 token will kill you as well as a Felhide Minotaur, or a Crackling Triton. In fact, of all the cards in the pack, only the Satyr performs consistently :)

The satyr performs poorly if it isn't played early. Drawing it late is often a waste.

The emissary is the only one that performs consistently based off your definition.

Emissary is a 3/3 with no evasion. Not exactly stellar. It needs help. All it does on its own is make the other guy decide how many of creatures that kill it on block he needs to keep back. Or when to play Artisan's Sorrow. And will you trade it blocking a Nessian Courser? On the other hand, a big green deck needs all the Satyrs it can get.

But, since it seems to be a debate between the Emissary and the Curse, I'll switch my vote to the Emissary

I saw the Howler do serious work last weekend, but playing that card is a pipe dream and picking it was a mistake.

I'm torn between Scholar and Nemesis: we don't have many low cmc creatures that bring down the cmc of the Nemesis, but even one creature in the bin makes it a 5/5 for 5 which isn't too bad and faster that the Scholar. However, the Scholar wins games if your opponent doesn't have Dat Asp.

I kinda like Dissolve here actually, Disciple seems kinda meh...especially with the aforementioned current lack of low drops.
